Japan-based Suicoke partners with Stussy

Japanese label Suicoke has launched its first collaboration this month with streetwear brand Stussy. Together, the two released "Summer Trip Fest" comprised of camouflage-influenced apparel.
The collection consists of sandals with a Suicoke original EVA made footbed. The sandals are army green in color with a Morflex sole, completing the "strong aesthetic" of the sandals combining both function and comfort. Priced at 205 dollars, the sandals are light-weight with shock absorbing qualities in order to improve mobility and grip. The collection will release official this month on June 16 in the U.S. and in Japan. The sandals will be available in Stussy Global Canpter stores and in other select stores worldwide the following week.
Established in 2006, Suicoke is known for its unique aesthetic and creative design development. By using highly functional materials and producing innovative apparel, Suicoke has build a reputation for itself for its neoprene panels, nylon straps, woven Logan, and Morflex soles. As a Japanese-based brand, partnering with Stussy is one way for the label to expand its presence globally as well in the U.S. With Stussy's reputable standing in the U.S., the collaboration is one way for the company to reach the streetwear market.
