Jeremy Scott has signed with WME-IMG, the fashion and talent agency who is also a force behind New York Fashion Week. The announcement comes just after Moschino announced their plans to unveil their men's spring 2017 and women's resort 2017 collections in Los Angeles, where Scott is based.

The runway show will take place during the city's first-ever MADE Los Angeles by MADE Fashion Week, which was acquired by WME-IMG last year.

Scott, known to some as "the people's designer", as his documentary released about him last year was titled, rose from humble beginnings to acquire a high level of designer celebrity. He's been known to align himself with major pop stars like Miley Cyrus and Rita Ora, and he's essentially put Moschino on the map for an entirely new, younger generation of fashionistas. He also has his own eponymous label which consistently has a full house at New York Fashion Week.

Scott has become famous for referencing pop culture in his designs including everything from cartoons like The Powerpuff Girls, Ren and Stimpy, to fast-food chains like McDonalds.

As both a fashion and entertainment agency, WME-IMG has a lot to offer Scott in terms of furthering his fashion celebrity status. They also own the fashion focused network Made2Measure, so maybe a reality television series starring Scott could be in the works? A whole new world is open to the designer now.
