As social media continues to become a larger part of the fashion industry and marketplace, many brands are choosing to work with influencers for product collaborations. Such is the case with Joe’s Jeans, and its partnership with Danielle Bernstein, the woman behind fashion blog We Wore What.
According to WWD, the We Wore What x Joe’s Jeans collaboration is the first influencer partnership for the denim brand, and features a new silhouette titled “The Danielle,” a vintage-inspired high-rise jean with a straight leg. The style was designed by Bernstein and is available in three different washes.
Suzy Biszants, the president and chief executive officer of Joe’s Jeans said that the partnership came as a result of both a natural relationship with Bernstein as well as an apt way to approach the shift in fashion marketing and advertising. The CEO also mentioned that in addition to tracking the success of this collaboration, the company is open to partnerships with influencers for the long-term.
With this collaboration, Joe’s Jeans adds to the conversation on the impact influencers have over both emerging and longstanding fashion brands. The We Wore What x Joe’s Jeans collaboration launches on Thursday, March 28, and will be available on the brand’s website and select stores.
