Sep 30, 2019
Joseph Abboud and Allen Edmonds have partnered to launch an artisanal shoe collection, Joseph Abboud for Artisans of Freedom by Allen Edmonds. Abboud joins an impressive roster of craftspeople who have participated in the Artisans of Freedom program which highlights American-made products through ingenious design and quality manufacturing.
“I am honored to collaborate with a company with as rich of a heritage as Allen Edmonds, that shares the same beliefs in American made quality and manufacturing as I do,” Abboud said in a statement.
The 18 different shoe styles represent the foundation for every aspect of a man’s wardrobe from work to evening to weekend. Innovative construction and rugged materials are re-imagined in classic silhouettes. Leathers range from premium calfskin to pebble grain to waxed suede, and include monk straps, cap toes, wingtips, loafers and chukka boots. Colors range from black grain to burnished whiskey. Each shoe contains 360 degree bench welt construction for durability, as well as custom cork insoles that naturally mold for a custom fit.
The collection is handcrafted in the U.Sl at the Allen Edmonds factory in Port Washington, Wisconsin. Price points for the collection range from 395 dollars to 445 dollars for all styles and will be available at the Joseph Abboud Flagship store, located at 424 Madison Avenue in Manhattan, as well as online at josephabboud.com. Select styles will be available at allenedmonds.com.
