Express recently just announced the launch of a limited-edition collection in collaboration with their brand ambassador Karlie Kloss. Working with the Express design team, the duo revealed the collection at a live fashion show on March 30, Thursday.

The Karlie Kloss x Express Collection will include 17 styles reflecting the model’s personal style. The line will reveal iconic tees, blazers, maxi dresses and embellished bombers; which all emanate the designer’s individualized aesthetic. The collection is meant to show off the wardrobe of must-have pieces for a busy, vivacious lifestyle. "This collection is made for everyday women—the strong, dynamic, on-the-go achievers among us," Karlie Kloss said in a statement. "It was amazing to have Express so closely aligned in this vision to design a collection that has a fashionable staple for any occasion.”

The collection was inspired by Kloss and her bustling lifestyle. “As a model, student, entrepreneur and philanthropist, she's always in demand, has to be ready for anything, and is making a real difference," David Kornberg, Express President and CEO said in a statement. "This exclusive capsule collection, built by Karlie and the Express design team, offers stylish wardrobe essentials every woman needs."

As the live fashion show debuted tonight, the individuals who walked in the runway were selected through a contest. Applicants uploaded videos to Instagram sharing their story and how they empower others in everyday life. From these applications, Express chose these individuals to walk the show in the new collection in order to express the brand’s overall message. “I am excited for us to launch with a runway show back in my hometown of St. Louis, featuring women who live their best lives and know going after your dreams is always in style,” Kloss said of the show.

As Express is known for its womenswear and menswear, the specialty retailer typically targets 20 to 30-year-olds as its demographic. The new collection, made with a similar demographic in mind, will range in price from 24.90 to 168.00 dollars in price. The launch, on March 30, will also allow customers to purchase their clothes online at express.com. The Karlie Kloss x Express Collection will also roll out in the brand’s 650 retail stores the following day on March 31.
