Kate Bosworth collaborates with Matisse

Kate Bosworth, designer and former actress, collaborated with Matisse for a festival-infused shoe collection.

The shoe collection draws most of its inspiration from the new trending fashion era of music festivals, dubbed “Coachella season.” Styles include neutral and vibrant colors from peach to ruby red. Embedded with studs, graphic prints, shimmery designs, and matte finishes, the heeled wedges and booties encompassing a fitting style for festival wear. The shoes range in price from 295 to 505 dollars.

Kate Bosworth, known for her former glory as an actress in Blue Crush, turned her talents to fashion by working first with Topshop in advertisements. After dabbling in design for a jewelry line with celebrity stylist Cher Coulter, Bosworth launched her first collaboration JewelMint. Now, Bosworth switched gears in design with her newest venture in partnering with Matisse footwear.

Los Angeles retailers that carry the Matisse label include Nordstrom’s, Vamp, Sole 2 Sole, The Swell Store, Robin Frank, William B + Friends, and more. Matisse, founded in 2001, is a lifestyle brand for everyday wear shoes. Carrying womens’ shoes as their main focus, their aesthetic is centered on trendy, but wearable pieces.

This Thursday April 30th, Kate Bosworth will be at Nordstrom at the Grove in Los Angeles at 6:45 p.m. to celebrate the launch of her new collection.
