L.A. based brand Koral Activewear launches new digital platform

Koral Activewear, known for its fitness apparel, announced their launch of their new e-commerce website. Ilana Kugel, creative director Brazilian native, launched her first collection for the brand in 2014.

The brand hopes to lead in activewear through digital fashion. With a new digital shopping platform, users will be able to shop the brand through social media as well as on mobile devices. The label launches the new site in hopes of reinventing the way fashion and fitness are connected. “We are incredibly excited to have created a premium shopping destination that reflects the high level of quality and refined detail that we infuse into our beloved brand," said Kugel.

Koral Activewear was founded by Peter Koral who partnered with Kugel in order to fuse luxury materials with utilitarian fashion. Koral, activewear industry expert, used Kugel’s knowledge of function and fabrics in order to elevate fitness fashion. Once Kugel moved to California, Koral Activewear currently sells separates, hoodies, bras, jackets, and more. Prices for merchandise range from 70 to 250 dollars.

The new venture is positioning the brand in a way to lead the activewear industry in an online format. Their website includes a “technology” section in which fabrics and materials used are explicitly stated and explained. “We continue to see a bright future for the premium activewear market and feel that we are now well positioned to lead the industry online,” said Koral.
