L. Angels, Los Angeles-inspired boutique, opened its newest flagship in Venice last Friday. The store, known for its unique apparel and SoCal-based goods, joined L.A.’s popular shoppers haven on Abbot Kinney Blvd.

The store took over former space occupied by a shoe-repair shop entitled Anjela Shoe Service. L. Angels offers clothing, accessories, jewelry, art, and other miscellaneous items. The shop has gained recognition for using Los Angeles based designers and offering brands that support the local economy. Local clothing designers that are offered at L. Angels’ newest retail store include The Good Girl Collective, Lot Stock and Barrel, Livin Anonymous, and Ibiari. The boutique also works with L.A. designers for its ceramics, artwork, and accessories. Brown Bag Book, Stoney Clover Lane and 3rd Season are also other labels shoppers can find at L. Angels.

The shop plans to use the upstairs floor for European-made crafts, according to LA Racked. For now, the retailer celebrates Los Angeles and what local crafters make for the community. The store includes colorful, vibrant items that represent SoCal’s sunny lifestyle. The store sells souvenirs that emphasize L.A. city love for tourists, locals, or passersby.

The new boutique joins an entire row of frequented shops on Abbot Kinney Blvd. The Venice location is home to many apparel retailers such as Junk Food Clothing, Heavenly Couture, Gant, Heist, Aust., Alternative Apparel and more.
