A new line, centered on edgy fabrics including leather and fur, has arrived from Jessica Kruse. Kruse, who serves as owner of the Addison Crescent showroom for both New York and Los Angeles locations, took the first step into the designer profile by launching her first line: La Bete.

The line includes moto-styled jackets, classic silhouettes, suede and leather materials, and more. La Bete’s fur-collared black leather jacket (priced at 1,150 dollars) further proves that the practical line emphasizes classy cool styles. La Bete will be available at high-end retailers such as Harvey Nichols and Saks Fifth Avenue. The merchandise will also be available through both e-commerce sites.

The switch to launching line came from Kruse’s background in sales. “It was a soft launch,” Kruse told WWD,“I wanted to start small and then grow organically.” Sticking to what she knows about business, Kruse trusts her instincts when it comes to La Bete’s launch. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Kruse’s strategy should prove successful for the brand.
