Los Angeles - LA Fashion Week returns this fall with its 2018 Spring/Summer runway presentations. The presentation lineup was just announced recently to take place at the Alexandria Ballrooms in downtown Los Angeles.

The shows are in partnership with Vogue International, Style & Society and Destination Luxury. The LAFW SS18 event will include approximately 20 award-winning designers and artists both locally and internationally. The LA Fashion Week team has worked to improve their show this time around, after their innovative display last year. "LA is going through a cultural renaissance and we are excited to be a driving force behind its development into the premier hub for fashion, art, design and entertainment," said Arthur Chipman, executive producer at LAFW. "Our city is surging with energy and artistic talent, and we cannot wait to unveil this season's offerings as we kick off our event this October."

This year's showcase includes new designers such as Georgian designer Lela Eloshi, who will be showing for the first time in the U.S. Indonesian designer Linda Salmon also joins LAFW for the second time to display her contemporary label. LA-based artists Bryan Yazzie and Rolla Berry will also be joining this year's roster to express California-infused designs.

Experimental artists that are participating in LA Fashion Week include Radka Salcmannova, George Styler, and MaryMe-JimmyPaul. International labels such as Milin, Jeffry Tan, and Asava Group will also show their SS18 collections. Other streetwear and contemporary brands participating include Issue Thailand, Sav Lavin, and B-YO.

LA Fashion Week officially kicks off on October 4 with its Opening Night Gala.
