Though Adolfo Sanchez has been designing in Los Angeles since 2006, this October was his first collaboration presentation with Los Angeles Fashion Week after a three-year hiatus of not showcasing in Los Angeles. Sanchez’s Spring/Summer 2020 collection takes on a modern gothic approach, featuring models with red contact lenses and vampire-like makeup.

The collection itself featured gothic silhouettes, with black lace, voluminous tulle, mesh paneling, ruffles, high necklines, and more. According to the About Page on the designer’s website, Sanchez takes influences from everything around him.

“I’m inspired by everything—people, places, music, and there is so much more to do, that I sometimes wonder if I have become obsessed with this industry,” the designer states on his website.
