Lemaire has announced that beginning this September, their men's and women's ready-to-wear collections will be shown together at Paris Fashion Week on September 26. This means that Paris Fashion Week Men's has just lost another show.

Attendees of Paris Fashion Week Men's will still be able to preview the line before September during showroom appointments on June 20, and buyers can place orders from June 21 to 24. Women's pre-collection appointments will take place after that from June 25 to 28.

In addition to Lemaire, Paris Fashion Week Men's has lost Balenciaga, Givenchy, Saint Laurent, Vetements and Kenzo who have all decided to do joint shows during Paris Fashion Week in late September.

As brands are working on finding ways to reduce costs, combining their runway shows can be a big money saver. It's very easy for even the most simple runway show to cost 30,000 dollars and up between production, PR costs, venue charges, and models. As fashion becomes increasingly more blurred across gender lines, designers are also less invested in the idea of separating men's and women's, it's all just fashion.
