Los Angeles - Inspired by California, Dôen launched online with a vision to create beautiful clothing from creative Los Angeles-based women. The collective, also based in Los Angeles, recently just announced plans to expand its apparel categories.

In launching Dôen, their mission is to create elevated, wearable pieces as well as support women in the labor force today. Dôen recently told WWD that they would be expanding their categories out more. This fall, the direct-to-consumer company will offer more footwear, children’s wear, and knitwear as part of their Spring 2016 collection. Prices for these pieces will range between 165 and 358 dollars, according to the trade publication. The designs will include fine qualities that will be in tune with Dôen’s aesthetic. Currently, the brand offers “easy silhouettes in luxe fabrics,” according to Dôen’s website.

The company started originally from siblings Katherine and Margaret Kleveland last year. Together, the two have vast amounts of experience deeming them qualified as fashion veterans. In the past, they both worked at Joie’s parent company Dutch LLC. Between the two of them, both have worked at prestigious roles in fashion before deciding to launch their own line. By continuing to add more categories, it is clear that the company is moving towards growing their brand.
