Los Angeles Makers brings Westside Holiday Market to LA

Los Angeles – This holiday season, a local marketplace event will be taking place within the first week of December. The event will include artists, designers, and makers that come together in order to showcase off their merchandise.

The one-day event takes place at UCLA’s Fowler Museum on Saturday, December 6. The Westside Holiday Market will include all local designers who create everything homemade. Participating vendors include Jill Aiko Yee, Juniper & Fir, Echo + Air, Debbie Dean, Artasan, Rummage & Hollow, Urthen, and more. The event will last five hours starting at 12 p.m. From the Los Angeles Makers group, three brands will not be present at the marketplace: J. Mason, Le Renard, and Sam Roberts LA.

The event was created a year ago by bringing together artisanal groups that do everything hand-made and DIY (do-it-yourself). Bringing these local creatives in Los Angeles paves the way for emerging designers to bring exposure to their brands. Places that this event has been hosted at in the past include the Fowler Museum, Croft Alley, and Cisco Home Pasadena.
