Luar debuts Ana bag

Raul Lopez of Luar is about to take your money, and no, he won’t be holding you up for it. The designer’s new Luar “Ana” crossbody bag is already being talked about as the next It bag in fashion circles. The bag recently debuted at the brand’s New York Fashion Week show in September and has already been worn by Dua Lipa, Troye Sivan, and Kelsey Lu.

The bag was designed by a fusion of a top-handle and an ‘80s corporate briefcase. It will become available at noon, Friday, October 8 on Luar’s website, Luar.world.

The bag comes in five colorways, including Espresso or black smooth leather, a navy and white embossed crocodile, an iridescent silver python, and a tan ostrich embossed leather. This bag commemorates Raul Lopez’s return to Fashion Week after a two-year hiatus.

Lopez came to fame for co-designing Hood by Air alongside Shayne Oliver which brought the pair to fashion industry fame. Lopez left the line in 2011 and has tried to make a name for himself with his Luar label, which has developed a cult following, but hasn’t reached wider commercial success. Some believe that this new Ana bag can change that. Tomorrow is just a limited release, but a larger release is on the horizon, including a jumbo version of the bag.
