Made LA took place this past weekend as a lifestyle and fashion event for buyers, press, and industry insiders. The music and style event for the summer included various guests for locals with a taste of both high fashion and performances.
The event kicked off June 9 at L.A. Live with Opening Ceremony's fashion show at 8 p.m. Additionally, RZA or Wu Tang Clan performed in addition to the high-end event. On Saturday, Joyrich celebrated ten years of collaborating with Snoop Dogg through a fashion show during the day. Lastly, on Sunday, Wiz Khalifa and Taylor Gang performed along with an additional fashion show featuring 424 and Pleasures. The event showcased various elements of L.A. street style infused with a hip-hop influence, matching the theme of the performers for the weekend.
The event stands as a year-round event that connects both talent and guests in a special curation of shows. The event allows for new design talent to share its highlights as well as celebrate long-standing collars in fashion. As an ongoing event, Made LA is likely to return within the year with more emerging fashion talent paired with established artists.
