Madewell partners with Spotify
Madewell, contemporary clothing and denim brand, recently announced its partnering with Spotify, a music streaming company. At The Grove in Los Angeles, Madewell held its first-ever collaboration with the music streaming service by showcasing its apparel through a Listening Party event.
The partnership between the two show the co-existence of music and fashion. In order to celebrate the newly paired duo, the Americana at Brand hosted Madewell's music and fashion event. The Spotify side of the Listening Party played tunes from a "Greatest Hits" playlist curated by the Madewell team. The apparel brand Madewell showcased its clothing by spotlighting their new denim from their June collection.
The collection includes boyfriend jeans, embroidered tops, totes, graphic tees, footwear, bottoms, and more. The collection ranges in price from 34.50 to 168 dollars. The color palette of the line consists of white, denim blue, muted red, and gold.
Madewell, an extension of J. Crew, is considered a modern-day interpretation of American denim. The all-American classic brand exists in 27 Madewell stores. J. Crew, owned by Leonard Green & Partners and TPG Capital, was founded in 1983 as an American multi-brand specialty retailer. The company produces over 2.2 billion dollars in revenue every year. J. Crew currently has over 13,900 employees and over 300 locations.
