J.Crew’s Madewell brand, which offers apparel primarily aimed at millennial women, is set to expand its market.

The fashion house announced Tuesday it will begin working on a menswear line that will hit retailers sometime within the next year.

According to Women’s Wear Daily, the news was announced during a conference call with investors by CEO Jim Brett.

Brett also reportedly disclosed details regarding the relaunch of J. Crew on September 10, noting they have taken steps to increase the diversity of their models - promoting a wider range of sizes in the process. The change comes following Madewell’s efforts to expand its size offerings.

J.Crew is also tapped to expand globally - collaborating with stores throughout the world - including those located in cities such as Mexico, Germany, France Switzerland and the Netherlands.

The company is also making an effort to join the wave of eco-friendly, sustainable pieces, teaming with organizations like Fair Trade USA for guidance. Their goodwill efforts will extend to sharing a portion of profits with charities like Human Rights Campaign, Girls Inc. and Charity Water.

The new efforts could help to reinvent the brand following its major overall since Brett began heading the brand in June.
