Maui and Sons and American Eagle to release collaboration

Maui and Sons just announced a new collaboration with apparel label American Eagle Outfitters. The collection is set to launch this summer debuting officially on June 1.

The collection will be called American Eagle x Maui and Sons. The all-American brand is teaming with the surf label Maui and Sons to debut a streetwear line. The collection will consist of hoodies, sweaters, and denim shirt jackets. With surf and skateboard-inspired styles, the collection will include vibrant, fun colors with a vintage aesthetic. The collaborative effort will reach over 1,000 stores spread across China, North America, and Hong Kong according to Apparel News. “It was tied together in a nice way,” Blake Harrington, executive Vice President of licensing and business development at Maui and Sons told the publication of the collaboration. “It gives us more of a consumer base."

Maui and Sons has gained popularity in California as a SoCal lifestyle brand. The company sells a range of apparel, sporting goods, accessories, and footwear. The brand opened a store in Venice three years ago in March 2015. The partnership with American Eagle started in 2017 originally last fall. Since then, it seems that he new collaboration will show off flattering aspects from both brands.
