American brand Men’s Wearhouse, best known for providing tailored suits, has recently opened the doors to its “Next-Gen” store locations in Shenandoah, Texas, and Buford, Georgia.

The reimagined stores were designed to support a seamless omnichannel customer experience that incorporates innovative technology for added convenience, the company said.

The new stores will feature artificial intelligence (AI) that determines customer’s clothing sizes by analyzing two photos taken of them. The contactless measurement technology determines a customer’s fit and size while allowing them to visualize fabrics and multiple style combinations.

Interactive touch-screen displays allow customers to select their desired style, fit, and color from in-store and online inventory. They can also add clothing to their “virtual fitting room” and associates bring selections for them to try on.

“We know that menswear retail is changing rapidly, driven by customers who are digitally connected, in control, and expecting zero friction as they engage in digital and physical environments - often simultaneously,” said chief customer officer Carrie Ask in a press release.
