Miami Fashion Network Kicks Off Art Basel Season

On November 20th, Miami Fashion Network, LLC (MFN) will host their 1 year anniversary with a Kickoff to Art Basel event at the newly opened Vintro Hotel in South Beach.

MFN will feature member designers and artists in front of over 150 exclusive guests from Miami’s creative and entrepreneurial community. Miami artist Hector Maldonado will exhibit works in preparation for his participation in the Red Dot Fair during Art Basel Miami Beach. Artist, model and television’s “Shark Tank” winner Lee Arthur Dahlberg will present his accessory line Leather Rock Bands.

Music will be spun by DJ Carsonicboom, a veteran of New York City’s spin circuit since 1997. Currently played on over 30 radio stations, Miami’s ascendant hip-hop artist O.Z. Mr. 28 Grams of Fratt Boi Musik will get the crowd jumping.

Two designer members of Miami Fashion Network will be featured. Brazilian based Ellis Beachwear will reveal its 2015 spring collection. Venezuelan born Lisu Vega, featured in E!
News and award winner at Miami International Fashion Week 2014.
Guests will enjoy complimentary fare from Vintro Hotel’s Mediterranean-inspired kitchen, while sipping from vino courtesy of Julian Wines, “Inspire the world around you.” Miami’s newest liquor Toast Vodka will front its namesake because “there’s always something to toast.” Juan Valdez will be providing premium 100% Colombian coffee.
