Missoni and Funboy partner up to launch pool floats

Italian fashion house Missoni has partnered up with Funboy, a California-based company that makes summer essentials such as towels, hats and floats. The two companies have joined forces to design a limited-edition, butterfly-shaped pool float featuring Missoni’s signature patterns. The collaboration comes just weeks after Missoni announced the selling of a 41.2 percent stake of the company to an investment fund. The Missoni family declared at the time that the decision aimed to help the brand remain competitive in the luxury market. Pool floats are a popular item among Instagram influencers.
