MLB and New Era release new campaign "We Who Reign"

Sports and lifestyle brand New Era Cap Co. Inc. just launched new multi-platform campaign "We Who Reign." The campaign includes partnering with MLB for its largest cross-culture campaign for New Era's 98-year history.

"We wanted to underscore our deep-rooted relationship with MLB, while nodding to our natural connection to an influential creative class, and we're excited to partner with some of the best in the game across sports, music, art, and culture through this new campaign," Mark Maidment, senior vice president of Brand at New Era Cap, said in a statement. "'We Who Reign' explores New Era Cap's idea of modern day kingdoms, with the New Era AC 59FIFTY Fitted as the crown on both the playing field and in street culture."

The release includes an infusion of music, art, culture, sports with an emphasis on baseball.The campaign will feature a range of athletes including All-Star Robinson Cano, Ne York Yankees pitcher Dellin Betances, LA Dodgers shortstop Corey Seager, Toronto Blue Jays ace pitcher Marcus Stroman, and more. Other creatives include YG, Big Sean, A$AP Ferg, Dave East, Mike Will Maede-it, and more. As the official cap for MLB, the New Era AC 59FIFTY will be available for customers to purchase with their team logo of choice through the brand's online shop, MLBShop.com.

The international lifestyle brand New Era has been in business for over 90 years. Known for being the official on-field cap for MLB and the NFL, the cap is known for its sportswear affiliation also as its apparel lines and headwear for men, women, and youth. The new campaign launched internationally starting Thursday, March 29.
