Nasty Gal announces collaboration with Courtney Love

Los Angeles - It seems these days that Nasty Gal has tapped more and more into everything retro. In a new vintage collaboration, the trendy e-tailer announced its newest partnership with rock icon and musician Courtney Love.

After a couple days of teasing a new collaboration, the Los Angeles-based retailer finally spilled the beans. The announcement came from the brand’s Instagram account, where Nasty Gal announced a new contest. Although details of the collaboration were not released, the post revealed that the winner would receive a free trip to Los Angeles as well as an invitation to the collection’s launch party on January 13. The post also explained that Courtney Love served as the brand’s muse for the newest collection. Love, known for her famous relationship with rocker Kurt Cobain, also gained a reputation for her grunge, eclectic take on clothing.

In the past, Nasty Gal has worked with various designers for capsule collections. The brand has collaborated For Love & Lemons, Line & Dot, and more. The online marketplace has partnered this time with Love to unveil a “killer collection,” according to their instagram post, for all of their customers. Nothing is yet confirmed about the collection, although it is set to debut early in 2016.
