Ever wonder what the lead up is like to one of the most watched couture shows in the world? Netflix has decided to unravel some of that mystery. Adding to their repertoire of fashion-centered documentary, the streaming service will be debuting "7 Days Out", a docuseries that will center around a week in the life of a visionary who works in the realms of fashion, food, sports, and entertainment. The first episode will be centered around Chanel's artistic director Karl Lagerfeld and the lead up to his spring 2018 haute couture show.

"7 Days Out" is the brain child of Andrew Rossi, who is best known for directing the Met Gala documentary "The First Monday in May". Rossi was given unbridled access to Lagerfeld and his team at Chanel so he could freely shoot whatever he wanted in the lead up to the show.

"7 Days Out" premiere episode will debut on December 21. Fashion has become an important category for Netflix in their documentary focused program, as they have also released "Dries" about fashion designer Dries van Noten and "Manolo: The Boy Who Made Shoes for Lizards" centered around shoe designer Manolo Blahnik.
