New affordable clothing rental service Haverdash aims itself at millennials

A new rental clothing service is joining the market. Haverdash, a new and unlimited rental subscription service is gearing itself towards the younger millennial generation, according to an announcement from the brand.

The multibrand business, which is powered by CaaStle—which has helped run brands like Ann Taylor, Express, and more—offers its members to rent up to three items at a time for 59 USD per month, which will arrive in cardboard boxes. In addition, members can have an unlimited number of box swaps each month and free returns. In comparison, Rent the Runway's Unlimited subscription costs 159 USD per month.

"The Haverdash woman is a go-getter, living in the moment and for the moment," said Haverdash's general manager Jessica Kohan Dvorett in a statement."

Like most subscription services, Haverdash offers its members access to both well-established designers as well as up-and-coming brands in its selection. Right now, brands available to rent include French Connection, Cupcakes and Cashmere, Sanctuary Clothing, and more.
