Bikyni, Los Angeles-based brand, recently just launched itself as an e-commerce retailer.

The emerging brand came from the brandchild of Jude Al-Khalil former chief operating office of eco-friendly label Reformation. The inspiration for the new bikini brand came from Al-Khalil’s desire to create a quality swimsuit that also matches a minimalist style preference. The pieces are easy-to-wear and emphasize a simple overall vibe. The suits are also designed with functionality in mind including seamless stitching and convertible styles for its customers. The quality of fabric used for Bikyni include premium materials. These products are sourced from 50-year-old Italian mill company. Although sourced out of the country, all of the swimwear is manufactured and made in Los Angeles.

The pieces of the brand range in price but are all under 100 for mix-and-match suits and one-pieces alike. The company was founded by Al-Khalil in 2014 and currently has about 22 employees. The fashion e-commerce business is based in Los Angeles.

Al-Khalil is most notably known for her launch of Reformation’s e-commerce business. Reformation has emerged in recent years as one of Southern California’s most sustainable fashion businesses in the industry. After helping to launch the eco-friendly brand, the entrepreneur launched her new business in hopes of spreading her fashion knowledge and applying it to swimwear shopping.
