Through partnering with Alpha Garment Inc., ready-to-wear designer Nicole Miller is set to delve into a new apparel company. The womenswear brand will now introduce its first ever denim collection in February 2017.

The new denim styles will come from the brand’s labels Nicole Miller Artelier and Nicole Miller New York. The styles will range in price from approximately 88 to 198 dollars for the labels collectively. The denim will bring in high-rise styles, cropped pants, flares, boyfriend jeans, and skinny variations. Although this is a first for the brand, eponymous founder Miller thought the line was a natural progression. “I wear denim all the time, so designing these styles was an obvious extension of my line,” she said to WWD of the collection.

Nicole Miller is currently available at 1,000 specialty stores. The womenswear brand retails feminine silhouettes including separates, dresses, accessories, bridal, and more. Based in New York City and founded by Miller and her partner Bud Konheim, the brand also includes separate lines under the name including Collection and Bridal. In pairing with Alpha Garment, the new line will produce unique, in-house styles for Nicole Miller. The new collaborative denim designs will be available in spring 2017.

During the month of October, which sees Denim trade fair Kingpins and the Global Denim Awards taking place, FashionUnited focuses on Denim. For all our articles on Denim, click here.
