Nixon, the accessories brand known for their watches, will be debuting their first smartwatch this year.

The company has disclosed specifications for their first unisex smartwatch, which appears to be an updated version of their other tech savvy offerings.

The new Mission Watch runs on Google Android Wear with apps aimed at the action sports enthusiast. Features include the ability to track surf and snow conditions, and also the ability to track activity on the water or on mountains. The waterproof watch also has a full-color digital display.

“We wanted to make our entrance into the smart category in a disciplined and purposeful way by bringing functions that are useful and true to our DNA and action sports heritage,” CEO Nick Stowe said to WWD.

The price point for the watch is 400 dollars, and it will be available in Nixon stores and on their website. The watch will also be available at select other retailers whom have not been revealed yet due to the contracts still being pending. Customers will have the option of customizing the watch if they order online with the option of choosing their own finish and wristband colors.
