Nu Wave Swim, a company that champions itself as the new approach to celebrating swimwear, will be debuting at Miami Swim Week this coming July by offering an experiential multi-day platform and hub from established brands to young designer to showcase their latest swim collections. Led by partners Seth Browarnik, found of social photo agency World Red Eye, and Michele Addison, previously of Modern Luxury, Nu Wave Swim will create a tropical oasis at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden from July 11 to July 14 that will house a variety of wellness activations, runway shows, fashion presentations, cocktail parties, after-parties and more.
By hosting at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden and implementing a plastic-free initiative, Nu Wave Swim is starting out by committing to sustainability and ocean preservation. With customers becoming more eco-conscious about shopping and smarter about where and how they shop, Nu Wave Swim is starting off on the right foot.
Headlining brands that will present their newest swim collections at Nu Wave Swim include Vitamin A, Tori Praver Swim, Gottex, Revival, Red Carter, Bleu Rod Beattie, and Parke & Ronen. Nu Wave Swim offers designers a variety of presentation packages – from conception to production to backstage assistance to guest list management for designers– in order to present their collections in a unique and engaging way. Designers and brand partners will have access to editors, buyers, VIPs, influencers and socialites.
"There is a huge opportunity for growth in our city so there is no better time than now to revitalize, re-awaken, and reignite Swim Week, Miami's most exciting week of the summer," said Browarnik in a statement. "Nu Wave Swim will infuse new energy into Swim Week and will provide brands a hyper-targeted and relevant audience while giving a focus to our local partners.”
To strengthen and establish its position in aiding ocean preservation, Nu Wave Swim will collaborate with Facebook and Instagram to create custom content to promote and drive awareness to Miami Water Keeper to advocate for swimmable, drinkable and fishable water for all. Sponsors supporting Nu Wave Swim’s debut include SwimShow, Miami HEAT, Heineken, Whispering Angel, Privè Revaux Eyewear, Beam Suntory, Evian, Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, The Miami Design District, Land Rover North Dade and Provocativo Cava.
