The Chambre Synicale de la Mode Masculine, the men's branch of France's governing fashion body, has announced that OAMC and Rochas Homme are the newest members of the organization.

They were elected as full fledged members on April 12 by the new management board of the Chambre Syndicale du Prêt à Porter des Couturiers et des Créateurs de Mode.

It's been a good month for Luke Meier, the founder of OAMC, *who was recently named as one of the two creative directors of Jil Sander, along with his wife Lucie Meier.

Rochas is also entering a new phase of its life as they relaunched menswear after a 22 year hiatus. While the retail and luxury goods sector is off to a rocky start this year, the overall menswear market has been seeing incremental growth over the past several years.

In addition to granting membership status to OAMC and Rochas Homme, the Chambre Synicale also voted to re-elect Sidney Toledano, chief executive officer of Christian Dior, as their president, and Isbael Ribeiro of Paul Smith as their vice president. This will be their final terms in their roles, as the board permits only two terms.
