Onyx Creative launches e-shop

Onyx Creative, Los Angeles-based company, recently launched its first e-commerce shop.

The store, founded by Angela Afifi, offers apparel, accessories, and home decor items. The online boutique was inspired by Afifi's previous admiration for Nasty Gal. What differentiates Afifi's shop from Nasty Gal is its artisanal factor. All items that are carried by Onyx Creative are 100 percent handmade from worldwide crafters and designers. "You can think of us at the organic Nasty Gal," Afifi told LA Racked. The contemporary pieces range in materials using chiffon, silk, cotton, jersey, and more. The Onyx style emphasizes a feminine style with an edgy side. The e-shop carries brands such as Pulse, Nuera, Przywara Strzalka and more. Womenswear for the brand ranges in price from 13 to 450 dollars. Aside from womenswear and menswear, the store offers jewelry, fragrances, and personalized home items.

The store recently launched by Afifi, the Los Angeles-native founder. Ultimately, the goal for Onyx Creative is to reach artisans globally and create a worldwide community for those who like to purchase one-of-a-kind items. The company works artisans that handcraft all of their items, therefore creating products that cannot be manufactured in a factory. Afifi's goal is to bring unique brands all under Onyx Creative as a unique e-commerce storefront.
