Day 2 of OC Fashion Week® reveals an all-new Runway Showcase held at the prestigious Founders Hall at Soka in Aliso Viejo. Founders Hall will open its doors for the first time to a runway of the finest couture, ready-to-wear, and intimate collections for Day 2 of OC Fashion Week®. Designers will have the opportunity to showcase the best from high-end designs and resort wear giving the runway a true collection of creative style.
This year’s couture runway will welcome esteemed designers such as: Coral Castillo, a 2011 design winner at OC Fashion Week®, with collections featured in Vogue Italy and voted Best OC Designer by CBS; Charmaine Joie, designer of Charmaine Joie Couture, most recent inspired couture collection has taken on a whole new meaning in fashion inspired by the BMW I8; Cheri Elizabeth, celebrity and international designer; Marc Aaron Bright, designer and fashion professor at Saddleback College; Jonathan Jimenez, flair for Spring/Summer has catapulted the West Coast with inspired looks embracing the coastline culture perfect for resort wear style ; Yesenia Hernandez, best known for off-the shoulder dresses; and Berenice Gonzalez, evening wear designer.
Day 2 of OC Fashion Week® will be presented by Betinnis, a fashion boutique located in Brea, CA, and proudly owned by “Behind The Seams” host and style expert, Chadia Almeddin. Darya South Coast Plaza, the jewel of Persian cuisine, will provide the evening’s gourmet assortment of hors d’oeuvres and cocktails.
A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit Working Wardrobes, winner of the First OC Fashion Council’s “Fashionably Responsible Award” last spring. The award was the first of its kind to recognize charities that use fashion to pave the way for charitable programs and make a difference in the world.
