Trina Turk, founder and designer of her eponymous brand, will receive the 2015 Otis Fashion Innovation Award. The label carries chic women’s ready-to-wear as well as swimwear, accessories, and activewear. Inspired by California culture, the line incorporates the SoCal lifestyle by keeping her pieces dynamic and contemporary. The brand’s headquarters are located in Alhambra, near downtown Los Angeles.

Lucky Brand’s CEO, Carlos Alberini, is set to accept the 2015 Otis Fashion Leadership Award. Last year, Alberini, became Chairman of the Board as well as Chief Executive Officer of the brand. Alberini noted that Lucky Brand’s success can be found due to its four pillars: vintage Americana, moto, rock ‘n’ roll, and a casual SoCal Lifestyle.

PacSun, known for its youthful Californian brand, will receive the 2015 Creative Vision Award. The leading specialty retailer is influenced by fashion, music, and sports influences from California culture. The brand sells branded and proprietary casual apparel designed for teens and young adults. Gary Schoenfeld, president and CEO of PacSun, led the growth for the 800 million dollar brand.

The three brands all exemplify California culture in their own distinctive ways. “Otis College is thrilled to acknowledge and celebrate the success of these three fashion powerhouses that so perfectly, yet uniquely exemplify California design,” said Walk.
