Pacsun has released the second drop of its highly anticipated collection with guest artistic director A$AP Rocky. The second drop features two styles, the classic slip-on, and the classic slip-on mule. The collaboration first launched under Rock’s A$AP Worldwide, and the release is again with shoe and retail manufacturer Vans.
“Vans slip on’s are classics - was cool to put my own spin on a shoe that I have always loved. These fit with everything,” said Rocky in a statement.
“It is truly inspiring watching Rocky use his fashion sense to put his own spin on a brand with so much heritage,” said Brie Olson, president of Pacsun, in a statement. “As a longtime partner of Pacsun to now Guest Artistic Director, it has been a real pleasure collaborating to give our customers and his fans the opportunity to purchase his merchandise at Pacsun.”
The launch features both shoe styles in black and white with embroidered flame designed by Rocky. As this was also featured in the first drop, it shows Rocky’s approach to trying new things but keeping some classic flair. The classic slip-on is priced at 80 dollars and consumers can also purchase the slip-on mule for 75 dollars. Rocky will continue to design for Pacsun with upcoming partnerships ranging from activewear to luxury car merchandise.
