Phoebe Dahl creates safari-inspired clothing for Jurassic Park theme

Gen Art's new creative director Phoebe Dahl was just tapped to design a collection for the 25th anniversary of "Jurassic Park."

Made through a deal with Universal Pictures, the collection was created locally in Los Angeles. The collection was created with a modern take on the franchise including fitting prints and safari-influenced designs. “I looked a little bit deeper and went into dinosaur prints, dinosaur eyes or even just jungle prints with safari silhouettes like jumpsuits, khakis or Laura Dern’s button-up shirt. But all of it is made of more elevated fabrics,” Dahl told WWD.

The collection will be the first installation of ten fashion collections of designers through Universal Pictures. The 25th anniversary themed line will be available at Macy's launching this week on February 15. Customers will be a blue to customize their variety jackets with "Jurassic Park" patches as well, according to WWD.
