Designer Rachel Roy is introducing a new capsule collection to support causes Time's Up and EveryTown. After being appointed to UN Women as a Champion for Innovation, she created a mini Love-themed collection to launch this International Women's Day, March 8.

The collection will launch this week through Roy's online website rachelroy.com. The collection includes tops, denim jackets, scarves, and more all with the theme Love. The color palette includes from red, beige, grey, black denim, and more. Several pieces of the collection include positive texts and phrases supporting both causes. “As you go through your everyday work life, and you run into trials and tribulations that I have over the years, it’s these passion projects that really push me to keep going in the same force that I did from 2004 when I started,” Roy told WWD in a telephone interview. The collection ranges in price from 55 to 209 dollars.

Starting her ready-to-wear and accessories business over a decade ago, Roy was able to grow as a respected, iconic designer. She became a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America and also helped found Kindness Is Always Fashionable, an entrepreneurial philanthropic platform for women artisans in global communities. She was also recognized by the Accessories Council with an ACE Award for best brand launch, according to her website.
