After becoming iconic for luxury handbags, ready-to-wear label Rebecca Minkoff has launched into a new apparel line. The designer just debuted her first swim line which launched Monday, February 26.
Just following the launch of its very own 'smart' bags, Rebecca Minkoff has created a buzz for its name in the past couple of years. Last year, she decided to move her fashion show to the West Coast instead of in New York. This past January, the designer announced that she would not participate in New York Fashion Week (NYFW) altogether this year due to her pregnancy. However, it didn't stop her from designing and curating a new swim line.
The new line was made locally in Los Angeles using Italian fabrics with mix-matched designs, according to WWD. The pieces range from 60 dollars to 145 dollars in price including one-pieces and separates. The collection will be available in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, and New York at Rebecca Minkoff locations. The collection consist of 15 designs total and is also available online through the brand's e-commerce site.
