As with the rest of Reformation’s pieces, its new shoe collection is sustainably made, using materials including chrome-free leather and jute. As a result, production for these shoes save 52 percent of CO2 emissions, 70 percent water, and 65 percent waste in comparison to the majority of shoes made in the United States.

“Footwear represents about 1/5 of the total environmental impact from the apparel industry, and nearly 1/4 of the climate impact,” said Yael Aflalo, the founder of Reformation. “Shoes are also the #1 most requested item for our customers, so it really made sense as the next step in our mission to bring sustainable fashion to everyone.”

The shoes follow the spring footwear trend of minimalist sandals and slides, featuring delicate straps, thong sandals, and more.
