After launching two successful seasons of shoes—a new category for the brand as of last May that includes flats, boots, sandals, and heels—Reformation is expanding its footwear to sneakers. Teaming up with New Balance to create its own version of the footwear brand’s classic styles, including the 574 and X 90 sneakers with environmentally friendly materials and practices.

The Reformation x New Balance sneakers are made with post-consumer recycled polyester in the linings, and laces. They also feature chrome-free suede, and soy-based inks for the printing. Additionally, the shoes’ inserts are made from a “combination of EVA foam and BLOOM algae.” This material helps to clean the environment while simultaneously reducing the amount of fossil fuels that are typically used in shoemaking.

The Reformation x New Balance collection ranges from 80 USD to 110 USD and includes three different styles available in five exclusive colorways. The collection is available to purchase from Reformation online as well as all retail locations. Consumers can also purchase the shoes on New Balance’s website.
