Rodarte changes fashion show format

New York Fashion Week is seemingly losing more designers in its roster for this upcoming season. Rodarte stands as the latest designer to choose an alternative city to New York, announcing that it will show in Paris in March this year instead.

The show will be a private presentation held during Paris Fashion Week. The Los Angeles-based label has decided to choose this city as the brand has decided to switch up its fashion show format. Instead of following along with the traditional fashion week calendar, Rodarte plans to align its shows with Couture Fashion Week in Paris this year, as reported by Fashionista. The changes allows for the brand to retail its collection earlier for buyers.

Additionally, the chic brand is adding a third collection this year. The label, founded by duo Kate and Laura Mulleavy, has not elaborated on details for the collection so far. Knowing the brand’s aesthetic for modern, feminine silhouettes; it’s likely that the new collection will reflect a similar tone.
