The streetwear brand Rowing Blazers has drawn inspiration from the gory cult film American Psycho for their pre-fall collection.
Titled Wall Street Bloodbath, a reference to the New York Post headline chronicling the 1987 stock market crash, the line is a nod the the chilling 2000 horror flick featuring Christian Bale.
Among the line’s notable pieces are the black and white Wall Street Bloodbath t-shirt and the Pierce banker bag, developed with Warden Brooks, the mother-daughter-owned company that has made the authentic Wall Street Duffle since 1978. The straps on the piece feature the corporate logo of Pierce & Pierce Mergers and Acquisitions - the fictional firm Bale’s character Patrick Bateman works for American Psycho.
The capsule hits retailers on Thursday with items ranging from 48 to 125 dollars.
