This week, 11 Honoré is launching as a high-end e-commerce retailer for sizes 10 to 20. Spreading body postivity, the e-tailer will house brands including designs from Michael Kors, Marchesa, Prabal Gurung and more.

The brand launches from co-founders Kathryn Retzer and Patrick Herning. The two teamed up together last year in order to created an "edited" runway version of clothing. The website states that the site will launch officially July 2017. In the next month, the site will launch with various designs from luxury designers. Appealing to a size-inclusive market where apparel is lacking, the project aims to offer finer fashion in more available sizes. "The average size for women in the U.S. is 16 and 67 percent of women are size 14 and higher, so this is the new normal, and they are not being served by big-box retailers and designers. For the first time we are providing runway options for this customer,” Herning said.

The site will also include designers such as Monique Lhuillier, Haney and La Line, and Badgley Mischka as reported by WWD. Retzer worked with these designers personally in order to find the right pieces for plus sizes. The e-commerce project will officially launch next month, with merchandise shipping in August.
