Stella & Dot recently added a new category to their line of accessories. As a new venture, the jewelry brand has decided to add a new apparel line. Debuting in April, the new line will be the company’s first attempt at introducing apparel.

Stella & Dot’s apparel line will include a collection of clothing that is embroidered and crocheted. As the company has been known for its intricacies with accessories, the brand will introduce skirts, tunics, and also eyewear. The new apparel line will most likely be a part of this way of selling. It’ll be the first time the brand has ever offered more than jewelry and accessories. “[The apparel] is our first foray toward become a real lifestyle brand,” Blythe Harris, chief executive officer for the company told WWD.

Currently, the brand is sold through independent stylists as well as through its e-commerce site. Through the brand’s LinkedIn page, the company states that it is currently a billion-dollar brand globally. The company has 1001-5000 employees that work through their own community. Stylists sell through word-of-mouth, marketing, and through their own customers. Merchandise retails from approximately 19 to 198 dollars. So far, Stella & Dot has been known for its jewelry and accessories. This upcoming fall, after the apparel launch in April, the company will also expand by offering fine jewelry.
