Stray Rats goes biblical with new collection

The punk and graphic design fueled Stray Rats brand is drawing inspiration from an unlikely source for its latest collection.

The Florida-based brand’s second end of summer line incorporates imagery from The Bible. Among the items is a tapestry blanket featuring Jesus clutching a large rat, with the rest of the items comprising mostly of colorful t-shirts displaying iconography and logos that embody youth culture, a beach towel, shorts and a new set of lifestyle goods.

The pieces offer somewhat of a contrast to the urban fashion house’s first summer line, which paid tribute to Star Wars and the Bratz cartoon.
