Contemporary clothing line Superfine has been doing extremely well since it re-established itself last year in the U.S. After capitalizing on the contemporary market in the country, Superfine has decided to expand by introducing more wearable, everyday clothing. Debuting as its own line, Fine by Superfine will be a casual ready-to-wear line.

The expansion serves as a new category in its own right. Although it complements the focal brand, Fine introduces its own identity as a fashion line. In comparison, Superfine typically caters to more fancy, sophisticated pieces. The new Spring 2016 line focuses less on trendy items and more on wearable, timeless staples. “Superfine is for fashion pieces - silks, leathers, embellished denim. Fine by Superfine is your everyday basics - t-shirts, sweats, and jeans,” Lucy Pinter, founder and creative director, told WWD. “It’s much more L.A.”

Differing from Superfine, the new line is set to add a more accessible option for shoppers. Superfine is appropriately named for finer fabrics and materials, while Fine by the label will settle for more easy basics and casual wear. The new pieces will range from 70 to 280 dollars in price. Just recently launched on May 25, the line is available currently through superfinelondon.com. Fine by Superfine will also be available at retailers such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Shopbop.com and more.
