Swarovski has partnered up with five designers to launch a limited-edition collection of crystallized patches that can be peeled and adhered to clothing or bags. Designed by Rosie Assoulin, Kenneth Kole, Tabitha Simmons, Jason Wu and Nadja Swarovski, the patches will retail for 19 US dollars at five selected Swarovski stores in New York, from June 4 through June 14.
The collection celebrates the 2018 Council of Fashion Designers of America Fashion (CFDA) Awards, which recognizes the biggest talents in US fashion, with the award taking place June 4.
Swarovski has been a partner of the CFDA Awards for 17 years, granting the Swarovski Award each year to an emerging talent. All five designers involved in the collection are previous winners of the Swarovski award.
All revenue from the patches’ sales will be donated to the CFDA Foundation, which supports disaster relief, HIV/AIDS and breast cancer projects.
These are the Swarovski shops that will sell the collection:
- 10 Columbus Circle
- 365 Madison Avenue
- Penn Plaza (200 W. 34 Street)
- 30 Rockefeller Plaza
- Times Square (1565 Broadway)
