The Mountain launches Protect line to raise awareness

Global lifestyle brand The Mountain just launched a fresh, new line. The line is designed with a mission in mind to save global at-risk animals entitled the "Protect" line.
The line includes both apparel and accessories featuring illustrations of endangered species from around the world. The Protect collection includes polar bears, pandas, big cats, and more to help create awareness of these animals and their situation. The line enables a way for customers to serve causes they care about with their fashion choices. "This program dovetails with the conservation ethic we've cultivated here and gives our customers a way to pitch in for important on-the-ground efforts," Kenny Ballard, chief executive officer of The Mountain, said in a statement.
The line includes tai-blend t-shirts, spun-poly tote bags, and mesh-backed ball caps. The apparel line also includes messages that support the brand's mission including "Littering Kills" and "Be My Voice." The announcement of the new line took place yesterday, Monday, February 26. The Protect line will be availed through TheMountain.com starting mid-march, according to a press release.
