The bra brand ThirdLove will now carry 24 new sizes up to a 48-band size, and cups AA through H. The new offerings coincide with the company joining forces with body positivity advocate Justina Blakeney.

Studies show that the average woman in American wears a size 16 while the average bra size is a 34DD. Many leading retailers, however, don’t have sizes beyond a D cup available.

"Speaking to women who told me that our company didn't make a bra for them was painful to hear. Women were rightfully upset that we didn't carry their size. That's why we've invested substantial resources to expand our size offerings," co-CEO and co-founder Heidi Zak said in a statement. "ThirdLove's ethos is to have a bra for every woman, to help every woman feel confident every day of her life. This is just the beginning; we'll be launching more sizes and styles in the future."

In addition to the sizes available, the pieces come in seven colors - including tones meant to flatter a wide range of skin tones. Designed for comfort, the items feature lightly padded straps.

ThirdLove products can be purchased at ThirdLove.com. The site also features a Fit Finder survey to help women find the bra that is the best fit for their body.
