Tommy x Gigi collaboration launches for holiday season

After debuting a collection with model Gigi Hadid, Tommy Hilfiger is set to continue the collaboration for the holiday season. PVH Corp. just announced that the American design house will launch a Holiday 2016 collection with Hadid that will be available in Tommy Hilfiger retail locations internationally, as of November 8.

The brand’s global advertising campaign will also launch alongside the holiday collection, entitled the Hilfiger Holiday Voyage, where Hadid will be active alongside Francisco Lachowski. The collection is set to highlight eveningwear as well as casual looks to emanate a festive aesthetic. Inspired from the founder’s love of the holidays, the collaboration is meant to bring a thematic vision for the line. “I love festive traditions and some of my favorite memories are from holidays spent with my whole family,” Tommy Hilfiger said in a statement.

The collection will include eveningwear, footwear and accessories for womenswear. Pieces include a silk-chiffon maxi skirt, jumpsuits, a sequin bomber jacket, a striped sequin sweater, high-waisted pants, and more. For accessories, the collection includes strappy sandals and a sequined clutch. “This season, [Gigi Hadid] really brings the festive spirit to life,” he said. “From embellished eveningwear to everyday essentials, our signature holiday style is all about celebrating the season with an elegant, playful edge,” he commented.

Alongside womenswear, the collection will also release menswear including various holiday-inspired pieces. The collaboration will include tailored tuxedos, shawl-neck cardigans, button-down shirts, knit crew-neck sweaters, and a puffer vest. For accessories, the collection will also include an assortment of scarves, gloves, belts, and hats. Both collections launch November 8 on Tuesday and will be available in Tommy Hilfiger stores worldwide at on the brand’s e-commerce site.

So far it seems that Hadid’s collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger has received positive reactions. It’s likely that the holiday collection will further propel the brand’d success. Although nothing else is yet confirmed, it’s highly possible that in the future we will see more from this designer duo.
